St. Louis MSBL Mission Statement
(as adopted by Board of Directors 2/23/04 & amended 1/8/07):
The St. Louis Men's Senior Baseball League is a non-profit
recreational organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for
men over 18 years of age in the St. Louis Metropolitan area to play
real baseball in a competitive, professionally-run environment, and
enjoy the camaraderie of other serious-minded amateur players from
all walks of life, economic statuses and ethnic backgrounds. The only
requirement is that they love the game of baseball. The League is
affiliated with the MSBL National League to provide guidance,
credibility, economies of scale and access to national & regional tournaments.
Vision Statement
(as adopted by Board of Directors 2/23/04 & amended 1/8/07):
Preface: The St. Louis MSBL has grown from the original league
of 4 teams in 1993 to the current 4 age divisions (18+, 28+, 38+ &
48+) encompassing over 40 teams which still play on borrowed and
rented fields. Vision: It is the goal of the league to someday
have the resources to acquire and/or develop it's own self-supporting
complex complete with concessions. Our goal is to make participation
in the game of baseball available to players for as long as they are
able to play the game.
